Professor Thiago  Ximenes is a native of Brazil with over 35 years of experience in the martial arts. He started Judo at the age of 4 years old. Professor Ximenes has had the opportunity to compete and travel the world as a world-class elite competitor for the sport of Judo and has medaled  at multiple international events including world championships.  During his pursuit to constantly improve and gain more knowledge he started his path in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and transferred his Olympic level competitive mindset to the sport of BJJ. Professor Ximenes is now a 1 stripe (1st degree) black belt and owns and operates a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo academy in the heart of old town Scottsdale Arizona. His academy in Scottsdale is able to offer services for all people. Non-competitors and competitors alike are welcome. Professor Ximenes wants to share his knowledge with others and does so by focusing on details with his students and mentoring children and adults which helps them with everything from confidence, fitness, focus, and even producing the next generation of elite athletes. Professor Ximenes is part of the Dould Five Jiu Jitsu Association which is a new association but well established with multiple world ranked athletes, many high level BJJ champions and dedicated students enjoying the pursuit of knowledge which those in BJJ refer to as a BJJ Lifestyle!
